As you all know, google has decided to
redirect all blogspot blogs to country specific urls. You can see that my blog
http://bloggerbasicsforbeginner.blogspot.com automatically redirects to
http://bloggerbasicsforbeginner.blogspot.in/. Many of us don't want this redirection to happen and may want their blog to be in .com domain. I will show you a simple hack to get rid of country specific Domain/URL in blogger. It is tested and is working fine.
Bloggers who want their blogs to be in .com domain can try the hack below.
Note: Make sure to take a backup of your tempalte before making the required changes.
1. Go to Blogger Dashboard -> Choose Template -> Edit HTML
2. Search for the html tag
3. Paste the below mentioned code below the Head tag.
4. Save your template and visit your blog.
You can see that your blog would not be redirected to country specific Domain/URL. The above code would make sure that you are forced to remain in the .com domain.
