Meta tags form a important factor in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which helps the search engines to index your web pages accurately.
Meta tags also help to improve your page rank as it contains the details about your blog tile, description and different keywords related to your site. They communicate with the search engines and tells adequate information about your site. This helps the search engines to index web pages correctly and accurately.
1. Login to your blogger dashboard
2. Click 'Layout' tab
3. Select 'Edit HTML' option
Note: Please take a backup of your template before making any changes in your code.
4. Search for the keyword <HTML> and
5. Add the below mentioned code
Replace 'your blog description here' with a detailed description of your blog.
Replace 'your blog keywords here' with keywords related to your blog. Each keyword should be seperated by a com followed by a space.
Ex: key, keyword etc.,
Ex: key, keyword etc.,
Replace 'your blog author name here' with your name.
This will add meta tag to your blog.
